International Delights Iced Coffee Taste Test

I have started a new job (well this summer I did) and one of my favorite things I look forward to each morning is coffee.  I am super excited that I don’t have to make it (thanks Kris!!) and there are a variety of flavors brewed daily.  I have found that towards the end of the day I’m ready for a pick me up and so I head to the coffee pot to make iced coffee.  It sure is a process.  Filling my cup up with ice (making sure that it is FULL so the cup doesn’t crack), add my creamer and the hope there is coffee left in the pot.

When I go to a coffee shop I tend to always order iced (or frozen coffee).  Summer or winter I usually stay away from hot coffee.  I am amazed how much a cup of iced coffee costs.  Almost $5 at a coffee shop and over $3 at a fast food restaurant.

Thanks to International Delights Iced Coffee I no longer have to worry about the “process” or expense.  For $3.99 I can buy a half gallon which will last me about a week.

I was given the opportunity to hold a taste tasting party and I thought what a better place then at a school with teachers and staff.  I know they work so having a little treat for them made my day.  I brought in Original and Mocha (the only two flavors available at my store…Vanilla is another flavor they carry and they are introducing Caramel Macchiato).  I invited my friends in to seek their opinion (and provided my own as well):

  • Mocha was the favorite
  • Original tastes like it has mocha in it
  • Both flavors are sweet…no need to add any sugar or creamers
  • The fun straws were a huge hit!
  • Liked the convenience factor of just opening the lid and pouring a cup
  • Great price
  • Perfect any time of day or year
