Do you ever get a new item that you just feel enhances your life? It makes you feel confident and kind of good about yourself? I feel kind of silly admitting this, but this is the way I feel about some new knives. Hopefully you’ve seen a few of my last posts about Chicago Cutlery knives – if not I encourage you to take a moment and check them out.
I don’t accept the offer to be an ambassador on just anything. It has to be a product or company that I believe in and truly look. After researching DesignPro Knives by Chicago Cutlery I knew that this was a product I wanted to try for myself.
I truly like the placement of the handle on the knife and the ergonomic grip. It gives me a feeling of safety that my hand won’t slip and that I’m in control. Whether I’m cutting a soft tomato or a tough steak I know that my DesignPro can handle it.
I have a little demonstration below showcasing my Chicago Cutlery DesignPro knives hard at work. I’m preparing my famous Mango Salsa and chicken tacos. Notice the effortless way the knife cuts through the outer shell of an onion and pieces of chicken. The clean cuts through an avocado skin so that the inside isn’t mushed is greatly appreciated.
We started washing our Chicago Cutlery knives by hand, but there have been a couple slips into the dishwasher. Happily so, they still cut like a razor. Dicing, slicing, chopping or mincing I know which knife I’ll be grabbing…do you? The DesignPro knife collection from Chicago Cutlery can be purchased online at Amazon.com. They retail for approximately $19.99 for the Chicago Cutlery DesignPro Parer Knife, $24,95 for the the DesignPro Scalloped Utility knife and $33.95 for the DesignPro Santoku knife. The Santoku knife has quickly become my favorite in the kitchen. And as a bonus all of the DesignPro knives come with a Lifetime Warranty!
I wrote this review while participating in a Brand Ambassador Campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Chicago Cutlery and received products to facilitate my post and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.
