I was first introduced to the Suzy Sirloin line on a recent trip to New York where a few friends and I were attending a party. They had many different finger foods and appetizers but there was one we just couldn’t get enough of – The Suzy Sirloin Beef Sliders. OH MY!!! It was a simple slider with a slice of sharp cheddar, a pickle slice and a generous sized beef slider was thick and juicy! It was like I had never had a slider before. This taste explosion in my mouth created a hunger inside that could only be fed by one more slider…ok one more…ok last one…forget it I’m on vacation, just give me the tray. Finally someone who was watching us enjoy the sliders said, “You know Suzy (Suzanne) is here tonight”. We just had to meet her and I am so glad I did. After a brief conversation it was easy to see the passion she has for her product. She was also generous enough to send us a sample of other products her company produces.
What a treat it has been to share with family and friends a variety of quality, all natural products from Suzy Sirloin. Word cannot do this product justice but the NY Strip Steaks were juicy and wonderful, the Turkey Sliders were healthy option that tasted fresh and converted my wife to a go with a beef alternative more often. (However I am still a fan of the Beef Sliders).
Now onto the Pork Chops. This is where words will just not do justice but I hope the picture and your imagination will help. I could have marinated them for hours or cooked them in a beef bouillon but I really wanted to taste what Suzy had to offer in her pork chops and not infuse a lot of products that would take away from the natural flavor. I placed the pork chops straight on a hot grill, brushed on a glaze made of sweet BBQ sauce, teriyaki and garlic, flipped and brushed again. That’s it!
