When looking for a comfortable dress that I could wear all day long I never got to far in my search…until…
I opened my package with my new Karina Dress! A beautiful dress was inside that I couldn’t wait to get my hands on. My Audrey style dress has a vibrant floral print that I immediately wanted to try on. The material was extremely soft that I ended up wearing it the rest of the day while working on my computer.
Here’s a little bit about Karina and their mission. Established in 2007 by Karina who learned her sewing skills from her grandmother. Her passion quickly filtered into creating dresses for women whether they are 18 or 80. All of their dresses are sewn in New York and have the flexibility to flatter you even if you’ve gained a few extra pounds (or become pregnant). Can you imagine having your favorite dress to wear throughout your pregnancy and still be able to wear it afterwards?!
What captivated me most about Karina Dresses is their giving heart. They base their company on the
goal of building a business based on loving yourself and loving others.
Proceeds are selfishly given to help underprivileged children attend schools in India. If every company had a philanthropic heart such as this, our world would be a much better place.
Back to my dress. Have a mentioned how much I love it? I am a teacher so being comfortable throughout the day is essential to me. I wore my dress and received numerous compliments. I am 5’0 so the dress hit me just below the knee. Normally I have my dresses hemmed, but I felt the length for this dress was suitable. I was able to throw on a cardigan while I was in the classroom, and I still felt appropriate when I removed it in the halls.
As a busy working mother laundry is a task that can dredge on. A trip to the dry cleaners is definitely not welcomed errand because of the time, cost and chemicals. I am grateful that my Karina dress can be thrown in the washer (gentle cycle) and then hung to dry. And to top it all of…no ironing needed! Sign me up – I’m ready to fill my closet with these amazing dresses!!
