Chicago Cutlery Design Pro Knives Review

Chicago Cutlery is Slicing and dicing the Competition!
Recently our Family was named a brand ambassador for Chicago Cutlery.  Through this ambassador program we are looking forward to increasing our knowledge of knives and our skills in using them.  As most men would be, I was excited to review the DesignPro™ series available exclusively from CHICAGO CUTLERY®.  I have been using the DesignPro™ 7” Santoku Knife, 8” Chef Knife and the 5” Scalloped Utility.  All of these have been a welcome addition to our kitchen.
I am an amateur cook and being on sabbatical for the past few months has been a great because I am spending a lot of time in the kitchen and trying to cook mostly from scratch.  A few things I look for in a knife are comfort, balance, ease of control and a long lasting edge.   Chicago Cutlery hit the mark in all these areas with their DesignPro™ series.  I have been using these knives for a little over three weeks now and I have been thoroughly impressed.  The very first thing you will notice is the grip.  The comfort grip fits my hand perfectly and places my hand in the perfect position for cutting.  The combination of a comfortable grip and great balance, I feel like I am in total control.  With the Japanese steel blades, the DesignPro™ knives hold their edge for an effortless cutting experience.  I have spent very little time on the sharpening steel with these knives.
Over the course of this program I am looking forward to enjoying my time in the kitchen more with these knives.  Meal choices are endless!
In my opinion, CHICAGO CUTLERY® has set the bar with their DesignPro™ knives. Their price point and quality are going to be hard to match.  In fact, the set of knives I had in my kitchen before CHICAGO CUTLERY® were much more expensive but have now been replaced with DesignPro™ by CHICAGO CUTLERY®.

Stay tuned to a future post with a knife giveaway as well!

I wrote this review while participating in a Brand Ambassador Campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Chicago Cutlery and received products to facilitate my post and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.
