When I first heard about the 3M Mobile Projector I thought this was an interesting and exciting item to try. I didn’t know what to really expect from this item, but it seemed that it could come in handy in a variety of different ways.
The 3M Mobile Projector arrived just in time for my daughter’s 10th birthday – which also happened to be her first slumber party. She received The Lorax for her birthday so the projector was ready to display this movie like they were in a theater.
The handy portable size of the projector allows for easy packing and travel. We recently visited the grandparents and at the last minute decided to bring along the projector. The grownups were in the living room talking and the kids were headed to bed – but weren’t quite ready. We took out the 3M Mobile Projector, hooked up to our iPad, started Netflix and our girls watched Strawberry Shortcake in bed. Crazy! They loved the idea and the both girls could see the show from different parts of the room.
It’s not just great for kids. My husband and I have a little addiction to watching an episode of 24 every night. What were we going to do! Well, we took the projector from the girls, hooked it up to the laptop and started watching. The only difficulty was deciding did we want it showing on the ceiling or one of the many walls?! Great predicament to have.
The 3M Mobile Projector projects a clear picture that can increase or decrease in size depending on what you are broadcasting the picture on. There is an easy focus button as well as volume.
My uses for this great device are overflowing! I plan bringing to a friend’s house to do a “dive-in” movie. The kids can hang out in the pool and we are going to hang a sheet and play a fun movie for all.
I am also a computer teacher. I can’t wait to bring this into school tomorrow and display the kids seating chart on the wall. I have a great app that allows me to take the kids pictures and see them sitting in desks. I have tried to use a computer program to project on to the wall and have been disconnected from it every time. The 3M Mobile Projector is small enough to sit on my desk and able to display a great visual for my students. This will be great not only for showing assigned seats, but great for instructional purposes!
