LeapFrog is just one of those brands that all moms love. Their products are quality, fun, and educational. You really can’t go wrong. We’ve had much happiness in our home stemming from the Tag Reading System and many other things from LeapFrog. Well, how happy were we when we got to host a little party from LeapFrog, featuring the new Touch Magic toys? I’ll tell you – super happy! The kids went nuts.
We got to play with the Touch Magic Guitar and Tough Magic School Bus. Both items were fabulous. They feature touch technology, which my five year old thinks is super cool. There are no actual buttons…you just touch the flat surface of the toy, and it recognizes it and produces the appropriate sound!
The Touch Magic Rockin’ Guitar was the most popular with the older crowd. This product helps build on creativity, role and social play, as well as motor skills. The kids had a blast dancing around and pretending to be rock stars! The guitar allows you create your own songs by adding sounds to rhythms already programed into the instrument. My son, in particular, thought this was hilarious and enjoyed adding all sorts of crazy noise to the tunes. The guitar also features a percussion button and a special effects button so that the creative juices can really get flowing!
We also had the opportunity to try out the super cute Touch Magic Learning Bus. This is a little more phonics based learning. This was perfect for the preschoolers, who are still learning letters and the sounds associated with them. My eight month old baby also got into some finger-tapping fun with the “piano keys” that are on the bus. So, this toy kind is really a jack of all trades. It has many learning games for the child to participate in, as well as a music mode which lets them sing a long and play along with some of their favorite learning tunes!
LeapFrog is really in tune with today’s child and this world of technology that we live in. With interactive, fun, and stimulating games and toys, it’s hard to pass up a new adventure with LeapFrog. These toys were fabulous. A definite recommend.
