Educational Insights is continuously bringing parents and teachers new products to enhance the learning process. I was able to try the new Hot Dots Pen and some of the flashcards. My 5 year old who is preparing to enter kindergarten was the first one to try this. I gave her the Blends and Digraphs phonic flash cards set to test. The pen fit her tiny hand perfectly and she quickly figured out how to use it. Even though some of the questions or tasks were difficult for her she could use her pen to help her find her answer. The fun praises are just what she needs and if she misses an answer she’ll hear a friendly tip.
My 9 year old tried out the More Addition flash cards. She can look at the math problem, solve it in her head and then put the pen on the correct answer from the ones listed. There is a large selection of flash cards to choose from. My daughter thinks this is a fun and easy way to study her math skills which as a parent I’m glad to hear.
