Creativity for Kids by Faber-Castelle #FaberCastellParty

In celebration of my daughter’s 10th birthday (which is today) we had a crafting party thanks to Faber-Castelle.  Faber-Castelle is known for the wonderful art supplies especially for semi-professionals.  I love that they have introduced lines geared towards children such as Creativity for Kids.  We received a fun-filled and brightly colored party box with all of our supplies to create projects all afternoon.

Each kit included multiples so that every child could create the craft.  Instructions and pictures of ideas were also included.  Our group of girls adorned their aprons and gathered around the dining room table.  We started with the Stuck on Fashion Tote Bags so as we completed a craft we could put it directly in each child’s bag.  The bags are great for lunches, to use a tote to school or the beach.  Next they started crafting mosaic trinket boxes (it seemed the easiest for me).  Girls could work at their own pace.  It was neat to see all the different creative ideas that the girls came up with.
They were itching to work on the headband and bracelet kits.  There were very small pieces and some of the process was very detailed.  My 5 year old could do most it with a bit of guidance, but the rest of the girls were pros at it.  As a mom I appreciated that I did not have to provide anything extra for the craft projects.  Everything they needed was included in the kits.  If glue was required – it was there.  If scissors were needed – they were there.  Gem stones and stickers to ribbons and beads this is every girls paradise.
For party favors we handed out the “Artivity” activity books.  They were full have crafty ideas for the kids to bring home with them.  Whether it is coloring a page or creating gift tags these girls sure will be busy for awhile.  We actually found another use for our book.  I recently learned a new way to blow out candles.  With germs amongst us all now that school is back in session maybe it’s not the greatest idea to go with the traditional blowing out the candles.  We used our artivity book to “blow” the candles out.  The girls loved it!
Thank you to Mommy Parties and Faber-Castelle’s Creativity for Kids Craft Kits for an excellent party!
