Educational Insights Kids Christmas in July Giveaway

Christmas time already?! Well we’re over half way there! I’m the person that goes out the day after Christmas and will look for gifts for the following year. What about you? Is your gift-buying list written out? If so (or even not) I’m sure it has at least one child on it.

Educational Insights is a company that I have come to know and trust. If you’ve been a reader of my site for awhile this name will be familiar to you. My best friend laughs at me because I want all my children’s toys to have a purpose. How will it enhance or benefit there life? I am not a lover of toys that will be cast aside or just plain junk. EI is none of that. They carry a full-line of quality toys and games from the littlest of children to the oldest (yes, even I am a fan).

I recently had the chance to review 3 new toys. The GeoSafari Jr. Talking Bug Net for my 5 year old, GeoSafari Plankton Net for my 9 year old and GeoSafari® Vega 360 Telescope (for the family ). Colorful and engaging packaging of products is a selling point for me. If it’s not appealing to the eye kids won’t be excited about playing with it. These were bright, vibrant colors with kids enjoying the products on the box.

All three products definitely meet my expectation. The one we got the most use out of was the Plankton net. We recently went to a family reunion on the beach and we brought the net with us. There was a tide pool outside our room which was the perfect setting to gather species. Even though the net is geared for kids 8 and up, my 5 year old spent most the time using it. It had easy to follow instructions and provided hours of entertainment. Note to self next time: do not drag through the sand. Makes for hard clean- up
