My 5 year old was so excited when she opened the package containing Nickelodeon’s new Bubble Guppies DVD. She immediately put it in the DVD player and started watching.
There are three episodes on this first-ever DVD. Bubble Puppy’s Fin-Tastic Fairy Tale!, Bubble Puppy and Bubble Bites. Our favorite was Bubble Puppy. This episode is where Gil goes to adoption center and falls in love with a puppy. My children really related to this. We adopted a puppy a week and a half ago and part of the “deal” of bringing the puppy home was them taking on the responsibility. What does it mean to care for a puppy to a 9 year old and a 5 year old? These are lessons that they are quickly learning, just as Gil learned.
