I was excited, and a little nervous, when I was chosen to review Tria Skin Perfecting Blue Light therapy.

I know that my current skin routine is not the best.  When I take a shower I wash my face, but if it’s a morning shower the make up doesn’t come off.  I tend to fall into bed and lay there thinking that I should have washed my face and removed my make-up, but I just don’t have the energy to get back up.

My skin goes through phases.  I will have perfectly clear skin one week and then the next is the complete opposite.  I don’t just get breakouts of small zits, I get the massive “under ground” kind.  I have also noticed tiny bumps on my forehead recently, not pimples, just little bumps.

Like I said I pretty much have a clear complexion, but that doesn’t mean my skin can’t use a little extra help.   I am most excited to try this blue light therapy to see an improvement in my skin.  I read that this product is FDA-cleared which made me feel assured that I was going to damage my skin using it.

I like to find ways to on how to prevent acne.  When I was researching the Tria I read that the blue light treatment actually eliminates the bacteria that causes acne.  Now that sounds like a winner to me!  All I have to do is use the Tria for two and a half minutes, twice a day.

In clinical studies, consumers saw 70% acne reduction in just two weeks, 93% noticed a smoother complexion in four weeks and 100% said skin looked healthier and more radiant in four weeks.

So if you are looking to get rid of acne or prevent it you’ll want to stay tune to my upcoming posts.  I will personally try out the blue light therapy and posts my results for you.  As you can see above is my before picture and I can’t wait to show you what my after picture will look like.  In the meantime, I encourage you to read some real-life acne product reviews.

The Tria Skin Perfecting Blue Light retails for $245 and is sold on their website.  It comes with a cartridge good for 300 minutes of use and a battery charger.
