I am not a mom that wants to put my kids in front of movies or video games all day because I want them moving and playing outside. I have changed my thoughts a little with the new gaming systems available. I approve of the new video games now that they get you moving I actually find myself wanting to play these games with my kids. The video game world is no longer just holding a remote while sitting on the couch. The games get you up and moving! The games are really for all ages so it can make for a fun game night in our house and not only on rainy days.
I love the Kinect because you don’t have any remotes to hold, it just picks up how you move. Your body is the controller. I am a big fan of country music and dancing so I was so excited when I heard about the Country Dance All Stars. It has popular artists and songs so it is music you are currently hearing on the radio. You can dance on your own or challenge a friend to a dance off! I also love that the lyrics scroll along the screen so if you can keep up with dancing you can also sing along. Try this game out and look forward to a dance party with your kids or even for an adult evening with some friend! Country Dance All Stars is fun for all ages and guarantees some fun and laughter. It is a great way for us to connect as a family and a game we all enjoying playing together!
