I had the privilege of staying in a Global Resort Home on my recent #DisneyGlobalEvent trip. It was a beautiful 5 bedroom home in a gated community. Right out the backdoor was our own private pool and hot tub overlooking a marshy area. This provided for a fantastic surprise view of a hot air balloon one morning.
Global Resort Homes are not a time share. You have the luxury of staying for 3 days or an entire month! There are over 300 properties in 9 communities that allow for housing in homes, townhouses and condos. All communities have clubhouses, pools and many have movie theaters and sundry shops. Trash is picked up daily and you can even have a mid-stay cleaning for an small fee. Concierge service is available and they are on hand to assist in car rentals, park tickets, etc. They network with Kissimmee Guest Services who will provide great tips such as what is the best park to go to on a certain day. They even have shuttles for the major theme parks. Some homes are pet friendly so be sure to inquire if this is a need you have. Want to travel light? Ask about rentals for baby gates, cribs, grills and more.
All the homes have a washer and dryer and many have a game room in the garage. I love how the homes are fully furnished so I didn’t have to worry about towels, dishes, etc. Global Resort Homes even provides a great welcome kit to get you started (dishwasher and laundry soap, toiletries, etc).
