What do you look for in a great piece of cookware?
I need a pan that is dishwasher safe, non-toxic and definitely great quality. With Xtrema I don’t have to settle – I can get all three in one! I received a ceramic skillet that came with a cover and a handle pot holder. This 10″ skillet is very roomy. I can brown by ground turkey and add the spaghetti sauce in the same pan. I sauteed onions in it last night and was able to add 2 cans of black beans and 2 cans of diced tomatoes.
My oldest daughter is working on a Girl Scout badge where she needed to work on cooking skills. Her first step: she immediately pulled out my Xtrema skillet (I have a large cabinet full of many pots and pans). This is the time that I really was thankful for the silicone pot holder. The handle was safe for her to touch and allowed her to have a good grip on managing the pan.
