In this age of violent and sarcastic animation, it’s nice to know you can still count on the folks at Veggie Tales to offer wholesome, Christian values amongst loveable characters and hilarious dialogue. We are huge fans of Veggie Tales and the entire veggie gang has earned a special place in my heart.
We were so blessed to receive the two newest DVD’s in the collection: Larry Learns to Listen and Bob Lends a Helping Hand.
In “Larry Learns to Listen”, Larry receives a great lesson on what it means to be a good listener and the importance of accepting help from the family and friends in our lives. In “Bob Lends a Helping Hand”, the veggies learn that you don’t have to have special powers to still be a super here to those you care about.
Both stories are told in a way that is interesting and relatable to children, yet are able to sneak in those invaluable lessons based on Biblical principles and God’s unwavering love. That’s the beauty of Veggie Tales. Kids love the stories and characters, and parents can rest easy, knowing that their eyes are fixed on quality television.
I can’t say enough about this wonderful series. A definite recommendation for all the children in your life!
