My Own Threads is a super cute and unique shop on Etsy! My oldest daughter is getting increasingly tough to shop for – she only likes certain things! Those of us with adolescent kids understand that it can get tough to find things that are “cool” and fit with the individual personality of your child! Well, Payton just LOVES the twirl skirt she received from this great little boutique. This custom made “Inspire Me” skirt features funky cool inspirational fabrics sewn together to create an eclectic look with a great twirl factor! The seaming is beautifully done and very professional! We couldn’t be more pleased. And Payton loves that it says things like “Peace and love” on her skirt!
The other adorable item I received is the “Best Friend” shirt for my youngest, Paige. It is one of the cutest shirts we’ve gotten and so unique! We’ve never seen a shirt like this! It features a little girl “applique” on the shirt – the fun part is that the little girl is composed of several different fabrics and has Swarovski crystals for eyes!
The best part? The “best friend” on her shirt is a likeness of her real best friend with blue eyes and red hair! So what happened next? My girlfriend ordered a shirt for her own daughter with a likeness of Paige on it! So each of our daughters have shirts with their best friend on it! LOVE IT!
